I had written an article on the subject,giving the statistics,the percentages,the population figures.
About First Cousin Marriage among Pakistani Muslims in the UK
1.According to famous French scholar Emmanuel Todd (born in 1951),and who thinks Islam poses no danger for the world,on average 35% of all Muslims marry 1st and 2nd cousins.
So 35% of 1.5 billion Muslims=375 million.
2.In Pakistan 61% (population:180 million) marry their first or second cousins.
That figure appears in David Goldman’s critically acclaimed book “How Civilizations Die (and Why Islam is Dying Too)”(2011),he is a scholarly Jewish author.It is in page 81,and his source is consang.net.
3.According to David Goldman,on page 82, 55% of all Pakistani Muslims in the UK marry cousins.So of the 2.8 million Muslims in the UK there are 1.2 million who are Pakistani,so more than 650,000 are married to cousins.
It Gets Worse
Now in Mark Steyn’s great book “After America:Get Ready for Armageddon”(2009) on pages 292-294,and he is a Canadian scholar,and he cites his sources,he says:
1.That yes,57% of all Pakistani Muslims in the UK marry FIRSTand SECOND cousins.
2.And that another 15% marry relatives,so 75% of all Pakistani Muslims in the UK are endogamous.
3.And that in the city of Bradford,UK,in 2000 no less than 75% of all Pakistani Muslims were married to 1st cousins.
