About the Argument that the Palestinians are in No Way Responsible for the Holocaust

It asks why they have to pay for Europe’s sin of judeophobia and genocide. They did not kill any Jews. They argue that:

1.Germany commited the Holocaust.

2.The best solution is to give the Jews a part of Germany as a homeland.

But the Palestinian people had as their highest religious and political leader Hadj Amin Al-Hussaini,the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem,a man who was an ally of Hitler, knew of the Holocaust and worst of all was protected by the Palestinians and other Muslims after WW II.He is still their hero.Read about it all in:

German reparations to Israel and Holocaust Victims

Germany has made a great effort to atone for the Holocaust. The Reparations Agreement between Israel and West Germany was signed in 1952,and entered in force in 1953.West Germany was to pay Israel for the slave labor and persecution of Jews during the Holocaust, and to compensate for Jewish property that was stolen by the Nazis.

West Germany paid Israel 3 billion marks over the next fourteen years and 450 million marks were paid to the World Jewish Congress. The payments were made to the State of Israel as the heir to those victims who had no surviving family. The money was invested in the country’s infrastructure and played an important role in establishing the economy of the new state. The reparations would become a decisive part of Israel’s income, comprising as high as 87.5% of the state income in 1956.

As of 2001 Germany had paid 60-80 billion dollars to Israel, according to Norman Finkelstein.

Hitler was a Christian?

Hitler was a theist but he was not a Christian. But many insist he was because he made references to Christianity.Though Hitler was a theist his closest associates were atheists:Himmler and Eichmann(the 2 in charge of the Holocaust) and the brilliant Joseph Goebbels,Minister of Propaganda.

The greatest philosopher of the 20th century was Martin Heidegger(1889-1976),who was an atheist. His masterpiece is “Time and Being”(1926),the most profound philosophical work in that century.Yet Heidegger was also a Nazi party member from 1933-1945.It was as if Plato had been a Nazi or Aristotle or Kant.To know more about Heidegger and Nazism read:

First of all we have Jesus and Paul. Many consider Paul to be the founder of Christianity. All agree they were historical figures with certain ideas. They both accepted the Golden Rule of “Do to others as you would have them do to you”,”Love your neighbor like yourself”.For Jesus it is in:

1.Matthew 7:12

2.Luke 6:31

For Paul it is:

1.Romans 13:8-10

2.Galatians 5:14

Paul also defines or describes what he means by love in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 and later says love is the greatest of things in 1 Cor 13:13.

So the historical Jesus and the historical Paul would not have said:”Hitler was a Christian.”

Hitler was a Nietzschean?

Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) was probably the greatest philosopher of the 19th century. He was an atheist who proclaimed that “God is dead”.His masterpiece is “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”(1885).Zarathustra,or Zoroaster(as he was called by the Greeks) was a Persian who lived some 500 years before Jesus and originated the religion called Zoroastrianism. In Nietzsche’s work we have a different Zarathustra who preaches that “God is dead” and about the Superman.

Hitler took from Nietzsche the idea of the Superman and gave it a racial meaning, where the Superman is the Aryan-Nordic race.In this he was helped by Elisabeth Nietzsche, his sister, who was a judeophobe and later became a fervent Nazi. When she died in 1935 Hitler attended her funeral.

That goes against Nietzsche. He took the idea of a historical figure and gave it a new twist. The Nazis proclaimed Nietzsche as their intellectual hero.We have that:

1.No scholar would say:”Hitler was a Nietzschean.”

2.The historical Nietzsche would not have said:”Hitler was a Nietzschean.”

In the same way no serious person can say “Hitler was a Christian.”
